"Taken on Okinawa Pvt. Robert A. Smith Jr. is located top row far left, with his shirt open and a big smile. Dad said he thought this photo was taken down South sometime after Sugar Loaf. He doesn’t look like the same man from his Boot Camp photo. Dad turned 20 years old (April 1st 1945) on the day of the landing. Happy Birthday Marine!"
